Following the Jazznights raffle of 3 jazz cd’s we had the traditional Jazznights sitting in spot which is open to all musicians who have an  opportunity to play  with the band. Tonight we had the pleasure of Dave Olney on Double Bass

    

SIMON SPILLETT (sax) will be at Jazznights on Sunday 7th May 2017

 

Only a few years ago Simon Spillett was hailed as a major new voice on the straight-ahead British Jazz Scene but in a very short time he established himself as an award winning saxophonist of the highest order. A real virtuoso, he is steeped in the music of Tubby Hayes, but is very much his own man.
